Spring 2021 Soccer

Our modified in-person soccer program has expanded for Spring 2021! This season will be 7 weeks and is now open to AGES 4-14.

Players must pre-register online by Apr. 3rd, and registration capacity will be limited to small groups of 6 players with strict safety precautions in place. In-person registrations will not be accepted. Our program will focus on skills training with limited competitive play. Players will be assigned a one-hour time slot on Saturdays between 10am – 1pm.

AGES: Boys & Girls, ages 4–14
(All players must be able to follow guidelines for mask wearing and social distancing.)

DATES: Saturdays, Apr. 10 – May 22, 2021

TIMES: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
(One-hour time slots will be assigned to keep families and similar age groups together.)

REGISTRATION FEE: $10
(Payment is due on the first day of practice in cash, exact change only.)

COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES

The safety of our players and coaches is our top priority. As members of our soccer community, all registered players and their families must adhere to the following safety guidelines throughout practice. Please read these carefully before registering, and discuss them with players before each practice as a reminder.
 

HEALTHY HYGIENE & BEST PRACTICES:
 

  • Wear a mask upon arrival, departure, and when not physically active during training.
  • Complete an online screening questionnaire before each practice.
  • Avoid touching your eyes/mouth/nose as much as possible.
  • Wash or sanitize your hands often.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Avoid spitting and coughing.
  • Bring your own water bottle. CYSC will not be serving food or water to players.
  • Do not share equipment at training, including water bottles.
  • Practice social distancing: Keep 6 ft. away from others, no high fives, handshakes, or fist bumps.
  • Only one adult may accompany each player to practice. Adults must wear masks at all times and remain at least 6 ft. from players.
  • Take your temperature at home before practice, and a coach may also take your temperature upon arrival.
  • Stay at home if you aren’t feeling well. Please notify CYSC and don’t come to training if you have been exposed to someone with a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, are waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test, or if you are experiencing symptoms.



WHEN NOT TO PLAY:
 

Stay home and consult a doctor if you don’t feel well or have any of the symptoms below:
 

  • COVID-19 exposure in past 14 days
  • Sore throat
  • Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing
  • Fever at or above 100.4 F
  • Chills
  • Headache
  • Sinus congestion or runny nose
  • Rash
  • Persistent cough
  • Fatigue 
  • Joint aches & soreness
  • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
  • New loss of taste or smell
